DESCRIPTION:
Privately owned 1969 Ford Mustang Fastback Mach I ‘tribute’ powered by a 470+ horsepower 408 cu in Windsor motor by ‘Blueprint’ and backed by a C6 3-speed automatic transmission. Body, paint, and interior were done approximately 15 years ago by the prior owner. The entire drive line and suspension was done by the current owner 10 years and only 2,000 miles ago. The Mustang performs as good as it sounds (see video). Very reliable and draws a crowd wherever it goes. No disappointments.

Please note the heater is not connected since the car was driven only in warm or cool weather. The heater core is in good condition and can be used.
Body & Paint:
It appears that most of the body panels are original to the car. There may have been some work done on the rocker panels, but over all the quality of the paint is very good. The hood scoop turn signals do function. Taillights are LED. Please view all photos as well as the video. The color is a beautiful metallic Mercedes-Benz Patagonian Red done in a 2-stage urethane base coat clear coat. The original color of the car was yellow.
Engine & Transmission:
Complete 408 cu. in. Ford Windsor engine (bored & stroked 351) provided by The Blueprint Engine Company. Includes dyno sheet showing 470+ horsepower at the flywheel. Build includes hydraulic roller cam, 10:1 forged pistons, forged crank, aluminum heads, roller rockers, Edelbrock intake manifold, Holley 700 cfm carburetor, electronic ignition. Stock exhaust manifolds were used with 2 ½” exhaust and FlowMaster mufflers. Keeping the car cool is a Champion custom aluminum radiator with thermostatically controlled electric fans.
The transmission was rebuilt with a custom 2500 stall converter, trans cooler and shift kit.
Suspension & Differential:
The entire suspension was redone with new ball joints, bushings, bearings, and shocks (see photos). The Mustang has power steering and 4-wheel disc brakes (not power). Torque boxes are in excellent condition, no rust or rot. Rear differential is a 9” Ford with 31 spline axles and 3.48:1 posi-traction gears. Wheels are 17” 5-spoke with Sumitomo 235/45 ZR/17’s all the way around.
Interior
Interior was totally redone when the car was painted and looks great. No cracks, tears or broken seams. All factory gauges function except for the clock. Owner added aftermarket Bosch tach and water temperature gauges. A Retro AM/FM/USB/Bluetooth stereo system with 4-speakers was added by the current owner and it sounds great.
