For sale by a private party is this 1969 Chevrolet El Camino which was originally built in the Fremont, California plant. It is powered by a rebuilt (period correct) 350 c.i. Chevrolet V-8 was originally rated at 255 horsepower. Backing the small block Chevy is a rebuilt Turbo 350 3-speed automatic transmission that has been treated to a B&M shift kit and new stock converter. The rear 10-bolt differential was also rebuilt and uses 3.55:1 open gears.

The owner started the project about 8 years ago when the car had 98,000 miles on it. Unfortunately, due to health issues, the El Camino is only 90% complete and has not logged more than 200 miles on it.
The 350 engine has an Edelbrock 650 CFM carburetor and “Air Gap” Performer intake manifold, long tube headers, 2 ½” exhaust system, HEI ignition, new fuel tank and lines, new starter, fuel pump, battery, alternator, and radiator. It starts easily and runs strong.
The entire suspension appears new, both front and rear. Including a swaybar, bushings, springs, tie rod, and a new power brake system with discs on the front and drums in the rear. Please note there is no power steering. The tires are B.F. Goodrich 235/70R/15’s mounted on Rally rims.
In the interior, the bench seat was recovered in an original black vinyl along with new carpeting. The door panels appear original and clean. There is no radio or antenna. The factory gauges all light up and function normally, including the heater controls. LED interior lights were added under the dash.
The body and paint look good for a street car. It appears that both rear quarter panels could have been replaced at some point because of welding marks in the door jams. The floors are solid, and the tailgate looks new. No rust is evident between the gate and the bed. The bed lining was sprayed with Rhino liner material. There is a stone nick in the windshield (see photo). Otherwise, all of the other glass is good and goes up and down easily.

Approximately 12 years ago, I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars in selling their vehicles on the internet without them leaving the garage.
