Sold and transported from Middletown, MD to Chambersburg, PA.  1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS “Tribute” powered by a Sniper II fuel-injected 383 cu. in. ‘Stroker’ small block Chevy and backed by a Tremec TKO 5-Speed manual transmission. This Camaro was treated to a complete restoration, which included stripping it down to bare metal and replacing some of the body panels. It has been driven less than 2,000 miles and was completed in 2011. The car has never been raced or abused, starts easily, has won numerous awards for paint and best of show. No disappointments.

SPECIFICATIONS:

Body & paintThe 3-stage urethane paint work is a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro “Orange Inferno” with metalflake added. You will also notice the black stripes are under the clearcoat for a smooth finish. New complete rear quarter panels, hood, front fenders, inner fender wells, door skins, rocker panels, cowl, front windshield, and side glass were added. Floors are original and solid. There is no evidence of rust or bubbling. Chrome is excellent and new window “fuzzies” were added.

Engine & Transmission:

New GM ZZ 383 cu. in. ‘stroker’ small block Chevy posting 450 horsepower and 460 #/ft of torque using aluminum heads and 9.6:1 compression pistons. Fuel-injection is through a Holley Sniper II. Ignition uses an MSD billet distributor with a 6AL box, high output alternator, and high torque starter. New gas tank and fuel lines with an in tank electric fuel pump. Doug’s ceramic coated headers exits into a 2 ½” stainless steel exhaust system by Magnaflo. Cooling is handled by an aluminum radiator with thermostatically controlled electric fans.

The transmission is a Tremec TKO 6500 with a Hurst shifter.

Interior:

Stock reproduction Camaro interior is in very good condition with console gauges, factory speedometer/odometer and tach. The tachometer does work but needs to have the included MSD adaptor installed since it was recently changed over to a fuel injection. New sill plates were installed.

Chassis & Suspension:

All new front-end parts plus a Uni-Steer power rack & pinion steering unit. Power brakes with discs front and drums rear. Bolt in frame connectors. 12-Bolt Chevrolet rear differential with Currie axles and an Eaton posi-traction unit housing 3.73:1 gears. Traction is handled by a Cal-Trac Slide-A-Link system. Finishing off the suspension are 15” Polished American Racing Torque Thrust wheels with 225/60R/15 front and 275/60R/15 rear B.F. Goodrich radial tires.
