Up for sale is a 1969 Chevrolet C-10 long bed pick up which was originally issued to the West Point Academy maintenance crew in NY. Since then it has gone through several owners but has retained the original 250 c.i./175 h.p. straight six with its manual 3-speed on the column.
The truck was originally yellow but was repainted (at some point) to the current green metallic and does show some age. There is some bubbling in the paint and certain areas are showing some rust. The original wooden bed is in good condition and the frame appears solid.
Current owner does not know if the engine was ever rebuilt, but it does not burn oil, runs cool, and has plenty of power. You will hear an exhaust leak in the video because the muffler system is aging too.
Upgrades and new parts include power brakes with discs on the front and drums out back. Power steering was also added to make it easier on the arms. New carburetor, fuel pump, radiator, and tune-up.
Interior is stock and all the factory gauges function normally. Electrically; the horn, turn signals, and brake lights work. Headlights currently do not work.
Additional parts go with the truck including the factory air cleaner (top only), extra set of chrome engine side plates, valve cover, rocker panel, weather stripping, and a Mr. Gasket floor shift.

I have been an active eBay seller of cars and other items for since 2002 and maintained a close to a 100% rating during most of that period. Around 2011 I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles without them leaving the garage.
