Complete rotisserie restored 1968 Pontiac Firebird powered by its numbers matching and rebuilt 350 c.i. V-8 rated at 265 h.p. and TH350 3-speed automatic transmission. The Pontiac has less than 400 miles since it’s completion in early 2022.

The owner purchased the car in 1978 and only drove it 4,000 miles before parking it in his shop. After sitting for almost 40 years a complete restoration began in 2020. The entire car was taken apart and rebuilt using NOS or OEM Pontiac parts.
The body is all original except for new lower rear quarter panels. The Firebird was then painted in the original Meridian Turquoise using a 2-stage urethane. There is no mud or “bondo” in the body. Also note, the Firebird came with a black vinyl top which was not reinstalled. The glass is original and even the side glass retains the original “Firebird” emblem etched into the glass.
Engine, transmission, and rear differential were totally rebuilt to stock specifications. Receipts for work are included. The gas tank, springs, bushings, front-end parts, brake, and fuel lines are all new. The one upgrade were the brakes which are now power with discs on the front and drums rear.
All the exterior emblems are new including the side marker lights. Both the front and rear bumpers were replated.
The interior was completely gutted and replaced with new upholstery, door panels, headliner, dash pad, and carpeting. An upgraded “Retro” AM/FM radio was added. The factory gauges and lights function normally. The original clock on the console does not.
The Firebird rides on period 15” Crager wheels with B.F. Goodrich 215x70Rx15 fronts and 225x70Rx15 rear.
The car is a pleasure to drive and draws attention wherever it goes. No disappointments.
