  • The present owner purchased the car approximately 12 years ago after it had been repainted in the original Bright Blue Metallic. In the way of bodywork, both rear quarter panels were replaced. All the floors are original and excellent condition. It is estimated that the paint and bodywork is about 20 years old. All the glass is in good condition and the windows go up and down easily. Also has a drive shaft loop installed.
  • The numbers matching and original 340 cu. in. engine rated at 275 horsepower, and 4-speed transmission were apparently rebuilt when the restoration was done. It had a Direct Connection “Purple Shaft” hydraulic cam, an Edelbrock 650 cfm carburetor and an aluminum radiator installed when it was restored. Recently a new gas tank and fuel lines were installed.
  • The exhaust system was replaced a few years ago with a factory style unit using Flow Master mufflers and Mopar chrome extensions.
  • The interior appears to be original except for the bucket seats and rear seat which were reupholstered. The stock speedometer/odometer and alternator gauges function. The gas gauge works intermittently, and the temperature gauge was disconnected. Aftermarket tachometer, oil pressure, and water temperature gauges function.
  • The suspension appears to be stock with new Bilstein shocks and the owner switched the rear differential ratio to 3.55:1 posi from the original 3.23:1 (original gears included). The parking brake cable was also replaced. The 70 series 14” redline tires and ‘dog dish’ hubcaps add to the factory look.
  • Overall, this GTS is in very good condition except for the aging restoration. It starts easily, shifts smoothly, and has plenty of get up and go.
