This is a true numbers matching and documented 72,000 mile 1968 Camaro Z-28. The car was purchased new by a woman in Paramus, N.J. who walked into the dealership and showed the salesman a “Hugger Orange” Chevrolet Z-28 Camaro ad which had the exact car she wanted. Only one problem, it was late July and the 1969 models were about to come out. So, this original “Corvette Bronze” Z-28 was on the floor and she had it painted by the dealership.
She sold the car to its second owner in 1996 who had the car repainted (the same color in single stage urethane) and added the 1969 (steel) cowl hood. The original stock hood is NOT included. All the sheet metal is original. No patch panels or bodywork was ever performed. Everything else in the car was left untouched and is believed to be original.
The engine has never been apart, the interior was never redone, and there are no tears, rips, or seams coming undone. Seat belts are factory original items.
The Protect-O plate, owner’s manual, and shop manual are included. Additionally, the third owner had the car verified by a GM engineer and that letter from 2000 is included too.
Car came with power disc brakes (front only), power steering, the Rally Pack console, the Tic-Toc tach, and an AM/FM radio. EVERYTHING WORKS, including the radio and clock.
The Z-28 came with an M-21 4-speed, Hurst shifter, and 12-bolt posi unit with 3.73:1 gears.

I have been an active eBay seller of cars and other items for since 2002 and maintained a close to a 100% rating during most of that period. Around 2011 I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles without them leaving the garage.
