For sale by a private party is this 1967 Volvo 1800s powered by the original 1.8L, 115 h.p., 4-cylinder and backed by the M40 4-speed transmission.

Owner has had the car in his garage for 20 years, but it wasn’t until 6 years ago he decided to begin the total restoration and put it back on the street.
The Volvo is 98% completed with many new parts including a 2-stage urethane paint job, leather interior, insulation, rebuilt engine & transmission, brake lines and hardware, weather stripping, clutch pack assembly, chrome, stainless trim, battery, and many extra parts.
As you can see in the video the 1800s runs and shifts smoothly, there is no rust apparent anywhere. The interior still smells new, and it even retains the original seatbelts.
The areas which need attention are primarily mechanical (synchronizing the SU carburetors) and electrical. The wiring under the dash needs attention, the speedometer, odometer, tachometer, and radio do not work. The other gauges appear to function normally. The wipers, exterior lights, and brake lights work, but the turn signals do not.
Since the car was put back together, zero miles have been logged on it because the owner cannot physically drive the car anymore. It sits too low, and he can’t operate a clutch. It is difficult for him to part with the car especially since it has come this far in the restoration process.
I am listing this vehicle as a representative (broker) for the owner. All photographs and videos were taken by me. All of the information presented was given to me by the owner. All questions will be directed to me and answered in a timely manner.

Around 2011 I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles without them leaving the garage. These are private individual owners who do not want to deal with the public and all of the endless phone calls, “Tire kickers”, and other nonsense that goes on when trying to sell a car.
