Up for sale for the first time EVER is this ONE-OWNER, FULLY DOCUMENTED, AND ORIGINAL 1967 Pontiac GTO with only 55,300 miles. This GTO is 99.9 100% FACTORY ORIGINAL.
This includes the interior, glass, under the hood area, weather stripping, window felt, chrome, stainless-steel trim, and the matching numbers 400 cu.in. 335 h.p. V-8 and Muncie M-20 wide ratio 4-speed with the Hurst shifter. The rear differential houses the factory 3.55:1 (open) gears.
On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being perfect, this car is a 9+++++. Even though the car has very low mileage, it was never a “trailer queen.” It was driven on the street to shows and events. There is a paint chip or two which the owner touched up by hand. The car was never repainted.
The owner was so meticulous about maintaining the car as original as possible that even the regular “wearing” parts like shocks, brakes, etc. were, only as needed, replaced with OEM Pontiac parts, if available. The gas tank and exhaust system were recently replaced.
Again, this Pontiac GTO has NEVER been repainted. And, it has never been involved in any accident or driven in bad weather. The undercoating, chrome, upholstery, and all glass is original. There is no rust.
It is also an AACA (Antique Automobile Club of America) Grand Champion and has won numerous awards at other AACA events and car shows.
This GTO is a standard of originality.
The tires are 14×6 “Red Line” nylon and not radials, as it competed in AACA events.
Included with the car are a number of the original documents (bill of sale, dealer invoice, window sticker, Pro-Tect-O plate, receipts, prior year registrations, owner’s manuals and a factory aftermarket 8-track player.
