1967 Oldsmobile 98 4-door hardtop powered by the original 425 c.i. engine and backed by late model 200R4 (4-speed overdrive) transmission. Both of which were rebuilt approximately 10000 miles ago.

Current owner has only logged 20,000 miles on the Olds since purchasing it in 1985. Being a mechanic by trade he always kept up with the maintenance which includes items such as the exhaust system, brakes, filters and oil changes.
The engine is stock except for the addition of a Pertronics ‘pointless’ ignition.
The Butterscotch yellow enamel paint was applied about 12 years ago when the vinyl top started showing some wear and the owner decided not to replace it. The only ‘rust’ repair was done around the rear window. Currently there are some small ‘pin-head’ size bubbles on the trunk lid (see photo), but otherwise the car is sold.
Black seat covers were used to match the interior, but the headliner and dash are original. The power windows work like new and the factory gauges function without any issues. The 98 did come with A/C, but the compressor and hoses were removed when the car was painted. Owner does not have any of the original parts.
New shocks were added about 10 years ago as well as 15” wheels and 225/50 radial tires.
The 98 is a pleasure to drive, reliable and does draw attention wherever it goes.

Around 2011 I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles without them leaving the garage.
