This 1967 Mustang coupe was purchased by the owner in 1973 as their first car and regular transportation. It is powered by a period correct 289 c.i. Ford / 200 h.p. V-8 and backed by the original C-4 automatic transmission which was rebuilt approximately 8 years ago. Shortly after purchasing the car (back in ’73) the original 289 V-8 motor was replaced by the current rebuilt item and was driven for approximately 25 years and 50k miles as a daily driver.
In 2004 a decision was made to rebuild/restore the Mustang to the current condition you see in the photographs. With that said many new parts were installed including welded in frame connectors, new floors, shock towers, hood, hood hinges, new rocker panels, emblems, trim, and a new gas tank with fuel lines.
The Mossy Green is the identical color the Mustang wore when it came off the assembly line, except it is a 2-stage urethane. In the 15 years since it was repainted there appears to be no rust or bubbling occurring. The only imperfection is a slight dent on the driver’s side rear quarter panel, which looks like a ‘bicycle handle’ impression (see photo)
The suspension was redone as well, including new front springs and bushings, new rear leaf springs, entire new brake system including lines, master cylinder, and wheel cylinders. To finish it off the Mustang wears 14” Keystone classic wheels with Firestone 215 x 75R x 14 radials. Receipts are included for all of the work and parts.
As far as the interior, it is all original except the driver’s seat which needed recovering and new stuffing. All the door panels, headliner, kick panels, rear and passenger seat are original items. Radio and clock do not work. All other gauges do.
The engine has been maintained regularly including a recent tune-up with new plugs, points, condenser, wires and filters.
The Mustang is a blast to drive draws attention wherever it goes and is very reliable.

I have been an active eBay seller of cars and other items for since 2002 and maintained a close to a 100% rating during most of that period. Around 2011 I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles without them leaving the garage.
