1967 Chevrolet Chevelle SS 396, a real ‘138’ model, which has gone through a total “Frame Off” transformation into what you see pictured in this listing. A ‘Resto Mod’ powered by a 454 c.i. Big Block Chevrolet and backed by a Tremec TKO 5-speed.

This “no expense spared” build took 4 years to complete and has only been driven 423 miles. There is no rust, ‘bondo’, or mud anywhere in this car. To the fortunate new owner of this masterpiece goes; the receipts for the build, a car cover, stainless gutter molding, and a photo album showing the transformation of this SS. This is one of the finest ’67 SS 396 Chevelle’s ever listed for sale.

    Body & Paint

  • Soda blasted to bare metal and spent 18 months on a rotisserie.
  • Replaced the following sections which were welded in place; 1 piece floor pan and trunk, both rear quarter panels, cowl area, inner & outer fender wells front and rear, front fenders, taillight section, hood, hinges, and trunk lid.
  • Firewall was filled and smoothed
  • Entire car was painted in a 2-stage Marina blue, blocked and wet sanded
  • Dyna Mat insulation
  • All new exterior chrome including the bumpers, mirrors, headlights, taillights, door handles, and grille
  • All new tinted glass, weather stripping and gaskets
