Up for sale is this beautiful and “real” 1966 Chevrolet Nova SS. Please note, this is not a “numbers matching” car, but an original automatic SS. Odometer shows 94,000 actual miles. This Nova had the exterior of the car repainted in its numbers matching Ermine white, using a 2-stage urethane, and retains its original black vinyl SS interior.

The body is stock except for a steel 2” cowl hood and there is no visible bubbling anywhere although there might be some body work around the rear window and lower right rear quarter panel, the car looks straight. The Floors are solid as well as the torque boxes for the rear springs. Headlights and taillights are LED.
Powering the Chevy is a rebuilt 1965 283 cu. in. V-8 which has been treated to reworking of the cylinder heads, Comp Cams flat tappet hydraulic cam, Rochester Quadrajet carburetor, Headman Headers with 2 ½” exhaust through Flow Master mufflers. Aftermarket aluminum radiator with thermostatically controlled fans keep the car cool and a Pertronics electronic ignition has been added.
Fuel system was treated to a new gas tank and lines.
The transmission is a Turbo 350 with a shift kit and deep oil pan. Stock shifter and console were retained.
The stock suspension was treated to adjustable coil over shocks up front and a heavy-duty sway bar. Performance rear shocks hold the factory 10-bolt differential housing 3.08:1 open gears.
The brake system has been upgraded to power using discs on the front and drums rear. Wheels are 14” Rally’s with “Red Line” B.F. Goodrich 205/45/14 radials all the way around.
The stock SS interior is in very good condition except for a broken seam in the driver’s seat. An aftermarket AM/FM/Cassette player was installed, but only the radio works.
This SS Nova is a show winner and strong performer as well as a great cruiser.
Extra parts included: NEW outside door handles & locks, window felt, steering wheel, and vent window weather stripping.
