DESCRIPTION: Beautifully restored and AACA (Antique Automobile Club of American) award winning 1965 Pontiac GTO. It is both a Grand and Senior AACA champion. This was a one family-owned car which had a ‘Frame-off’ restoration completed approximately 15 years ago. It is numbers matching and powered by the legendary 389 cu in Pontiac V8 ‘Tri-Power’ rated at 360 horsepower. PHS (Pontiac Historical Society) report is included.

Factory options include the 360 horsepower engine, AM/FM radio with “reverb”, Pontiac Rally wheels, and power brakes.

The 2-stage urethane Burgundy paint is like a mirror. It is believed most of the body panels are original. All the exterior chrome was replated or had NOS (new old stock) replacements. Glass is in excellent condition.

The engine was rebuilt and uses the original carburetors with their tags. Transmission is an M-21 close ratio 4-speed.

Suspension was completely redone including the Safe-T track posi-traction 3.55:1 rear differential.

The interior was completely refurbished, and all the factory gauges work except the radio. Seats, door panels, and carpeting were done in the Pontiac factory pattern. No tears, rips, or broken seams.

For the past 10 years this GTO has been owned as part of a larger collection and driven less than 500 miles.

This GTO runs strong and shows better than new. No disappointments.
