1965 Ford Fairlane 500 2-door hardtop in Canary yellow and a beautiful black vinyl interior. The Ford is powered by a 289 V-8 and backed by a C4 transmission.

The owner purchased the car approximately 4 years ago and had the front of the car rewired using a Painless wiring harness and the engine was rebuilt including being bored .030” over, installing forged crank and pistons.
The heads were treated to a 3-angle valve job and hardened seats were installed to run on pump gas and a mild hydraulic cam was added. Finishing the build is a Weiand intake manifold and 650 cfm Holley carburetor.
Additionally, a new gas tank and fuel lines were added along with an aluminum radiator and new exhaust system using Flow Master mufflers were installed.
The suspension is new and includes CPP power brakes with discs on the front and drums rear. The Ford 8” rear runs the stock 2.80:1 open gears.
Wheels are 14” GT with 205x70x14 B.F. Goodrich Silvertown radials on all four corners.
It should be noted that the car came with a Vintage Air A/C system which was not reinstalled when the 289 was rebuilt. All the parts are included, such as the compressor, condenser, and pulleys. Duct work is still in place under the dash.
Also included are the factory style valve covers and air cleaner.
The aftermarket radio is new, but never connected.
Chrome is in good condition as well as all the glass. The age of the restoration is not known, but it is believed both lower rear quarter panels were replaced and the floor pans.
The Fairlane 500 starts easily, drives straight and is a strong performer.
