1964 Ford Thunderbird Convertible with only 69,000 original miles, 2-owners, and powered by Ford’s famous 390 c.u. FE engine rated at 300 h.p. Handling the shifting chores is Ford’s legendary Cruise-O-Matic 3-speed automatic transmission. The T-Bird was repainted in its original color of Platinum or as Ford named it “Diamond Blue” and retains the matching blue interior.

Original owner purchased the car from a local Ford dealership and sold it just prior to his death in 2010. After taking possession of the car by the second owner the following work was performed:
New gas tank with sending unit, rebuilt carburetor, exhaust system, power brakes, front end parts, shocks, front bumper, rear bumper center section, new tires, right rear quarter panel was replaced, new 2-stage urethane paint job, and new top.
The body is in excellent condition and there is no evidence of bubbling or cracking in the paint.
All of the power options work including the windows, seat, swing-a-way steering wheel, and top. Factory gauges function except for the radio and clock.
The Thunderbird has driven less than 1000 miles since the above work was performed and always garage kept.
Issues that need to be addressed include a relay for the trunk to open when the top initially starts to go down. One of the mufflers has a small hole in it. A seal on the power steering pump needs to be replaced.
Included with the car is a new trunk mat with insulation, prior records dating back to the original purchase (no purchase order), and receipts for work performed in 2010.
The Thunderbird draws attention wherever it goes and is a blast to drive.
