1964 Ford Galaxie XL 500 4-door hardtop with 81,900 original miles. Powered by the original 352 c.i. FE engine is rated at 300 horsepower and backed by the matching 3-Speed Cruise-O-Matic automatic transmission. Originally from Florida, and has had one repaint in the factory Wimbledon White. Factory options include air conditioning (not working), power windows (only the driver’s side works), power seats, power steering & brakes (disc front & drum rear).

Body & Paint: Evidence of one repaint with some areas showing age and a little body work. Does not look like any body panels were replaced, but there are a few areas of rust starting to show through, and there is a ‘ding’ on the driver’s side passenger door. The floor pans look solid. See photos. Glass and trim are in good shape. Exterior lights and turn signals function normally.
Engine & Transmission: Stock 352 Cubic inch FE Ford motor with a new Aluminum radiator, Edelbrock 650 cfm carburetor, and Pertronics ignition. The engine does not burn oil or show any leaks. The dual exhaust system is only 2 years old.
The Cruise-O-Matic shifts easily and does not appear to leak either.
Chassis & Differential: Stock Ford Galaxie suspension with new shocks and brake system, including master cylinder and hardware. Greaseable upper control arm bushings. 15” Cragar wheels with 215/70R/15 front and 275/60R/15 radial tires.
Interior: Original XL 500 interior with bucket seats and a console shifter. No ripped seams or cuts are evident. Factory gauges work. Aftermarket AM/FM/CD player mounted under the dash. The original radio does not work.

I have been an active eBay seller of cars and other items for more than 20 years and maintained a 100% rating during most of that period. Approximately 12 years ago, I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles on the internet without them leaving the garage.
