The current owner purchased it approximately 13 years ago from an individual in Springfield, OH in the condition you see pictured. The only changes have been a new gas tank and fuel lines and shocks. Less than 1500 miles have been logged on the Ford attending local car shows and cruise events.
According to the owner the paint work, top, and dual exhaust were done before he purchased the car. It appears to be a nice 2-stage urethane “street” paint job with a few age bubbles on the lower front corner of the driver’s door and a crack near the trunk jam (see photos). It appears the remainder of the car is original and in excellent condition including the floors and body panels. The only other area is on the top of the left front fender where it appears some dirt in the paint has surfaced (see photo). Exterior chrome appears new. The windows go up & down easily and are in very good to excellent condition. Exterior lights, turn signals, brake lights, and wipers function normally.
The stock 260 c.i. Ford Windsor V8 2-barrel is believed original to the Falcon and runs strong. Options include power steering and seat belts.
The interior is all original and in fantastic condition. No rips or broken seams. The original radio was replaced with a retro model which has a working AM/FM/Cassette player. The factory gauge’s and dash lights function, heater and blower work, and the power top goes up and down easily (see video).
Included with the car are the following new parts which the current owner was planning on installing at some point. Complete front end rebuild kit including tie rod ends, upper and lower control arms, and pitman arm, red convertible top boot, and a power brake master cylinder with new brake shoes. Even without these parts added the Falcon runs and drives great.
