Beautifully restored and professionally modified all steel 1963 VW “Classic” Beetle painted in a 2-stage urethane and powered by a new SCAT 2027 cc ‘Flat Motor’ boasting 140+ horsepower! This ‘Bug’ was totally disassembled and rebuilt with all new parts including weather stripping and chrome. It was completed in 2018 and has been driven less than 1600 miles.

Engine & Transmission:

New 78.8mm x 90.5mm block, 78.8mm Volks racer forged crank, 90mm x 82mm forged pistons, 8mm chromoly head studs, C-45 cam, 5.394” I-beam rods, Pro Street cylinder heads, Chromoly 12v light flywheel, 1.1 HD rocker arm assembly, billet oil drain plate, 1.5 qt oil sump system with remote filter, Stainless steel valve covers, Pertronix Flamethrower ignition, doghouse oil cooler, 60 AMP Generic Alternator, serpentine alternator and crank drive system, dual 44mm Weber carburetors, and A1 1.625” ‘Sidewinder’ Ceramic coated exhaust system.

Transmission is a Rancho ‘Freeway Flyer’ 4.12:1 gears and 0.89:1 4^th for overdrive, Hurst shifter, and Stage 1 Kennedy Racing pressure plate 200mm type.

Chassis & Suspension:

Close ratio steering box, Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes, front end was narrowed 4” with adjustable torsion bars. 5-lug chrome wheels with Bridgestone 175/65R/15 front and 195/60R/15 rear.

Interior:

Complete new cloth interior including headliner, door panels, door handles, window cranks, VDO white faced gauges (tachometer, speedometer/odometer, oil pressure, and oil temperature), and heated seats.

Body & Paint:

2-stage urethane ‘Ruby’ Red paint on an all-steel body. No patch panels or bodywork, new running boards, new floors, new glass, new soft top for the sunroof, weather stripping, gaskets, fuel tank w/sending unit, head & taillights, chrome bumpers.
