This Belvedere body appears very solid and has all the original body panels and floors. There is no evidence of rot or rust coming through. The exterior was repainted in the original color of Mayan Gold using acrylic enamel and it has held up well. The glass is in excellent condition and the chrome shows well.
The interior uses the original door panels and headliner (some seams in headliner have split). Seats were reupholstered and new carpeting added to match the original factory style. The only factory gauge that works is the voltmeter. All the others including the speedometer/odometer, fuel, and temperature do not work, instead Auto Meter tachometer, fuel, water temperature, oil pressure, and fuel pressure were added. The “push button” gear selector does not work, but the cables are still in the car.
For the performance side of this Mopar view the specifications below. It runs on pump gas (93 octane) with no issues. All the work was professionally done, the Plymouth is a strong performer, and stays at 180 degrees during the hottest summer days. There appears to be no evidence of leaks under the car.
Owner is selling for personal reasons.
