1963 Plymouth Belvedere hardtop that was professionally built by Muscle Car Restorations in WI approximately 10 – 15 years ago. It is beautifully detailed and powered by a 383 c.i. wedge backed by an a833 4-speed transmission and 8.75” rear differential. Total mileage on the car since the build is 630.

It does appear the car was taken apart and painted on a rotisserie. The Belvedere body looks straight and the exterior color is a vibrant dark blue metallic in a 2-stage urethane. The underside was sprayed with a ‘bedliner’ type of material to prevent chipping. All the exterior chrome, stainless trim, lights, and emblems appear to be new.

According to the owner the 383 cu.in. wedge was bored and stroked to 431 c.i. using 440 rods and crank. It was built for street use, so it’s estimated the compression ratio is in the 9.5:1 range. A mild hydraulic cam was added along with a Mopar intake manifold and Edelbrock carburetor with an electric choke. The ignition is a Chrysler electronic unit with 8mm plug wires and heat shields. Ceramic coated headers are attached to a complete 2 ½” exhaust system which exits out the back and uses an ‘H’ pipe and Dynomax mufflers. A flex-fan and oversized radiator keep the Plymouth cool.

The interior was redone in the period correct Plymouth vinyl with cloth inserts and looks outstanding. This includes new or OEM gauges which all function and a working AM radio with speakers front and rear. Additionally, Auto Meter aftermarket oil pressure, water temperature, and voltmeter gauges were neatly added with a matching Tach mounted by the Hurst Shifter. The entire car’s wiring was redone with new harnesses front and rear.

The undercarriage appears to have been totally refurbished including an 8.75” sure-grip rear with 3.55:1 gears. New springs (front & rear) bushings, hydraulic clutch, steering box, and brake system (non-power drum) were also added. The wheels are painted to match the car and use “dog dish” hubcaps. The tires are B.F. Goodrich radials with 225/70R/15 front and 275/60R/15 rear.

Please view the pictures and video carefully. It does appear in some areas the bodywork is starting to show its age.

PLEASE BUY WITH CONFIDENCE

I have been an active eBay seller of cars and other items for more than 20 years and maintained a 100% rating during most of that period. Approximately 12 years ago, I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles on the Internet without them leaving the garage. These are private individual owners who do not want to deal with the public and all the endless phone calls, “Tire kickers,” and other nonsense that goes on when trying to sell a car. They just want someone to sell it!!
