Sold & transported from Street, MD to San Francisco, CA.  This 1962 Willys Jeep 4×4 Frame Off Restoration was originally posted for sale on March 11, 2024. It sold in one week.

  • Beautifully restored and meticulously maintained original 1962 Willy’s Jeep pickup 4×4. The one-ton pickup truck is all steel and had a ‘frame-off’ build completed approximately 9 years ago. Only 3,280 miles have been logged on the Willy’s since its completion. It still runs on 6-volts.
  • The entire drive line and suspension has been rebuilt including the original 226 cu. in. “Super Hurricane” Flathead I-6 rated at 115 h.p. The factory 3-speed manual transmission has a rare factory installed Warn Overdrive unit to help the Jeep when driving on regular roads. The factory rear differential ratio is believed to be 5.38:1!! The tires are Uniroyal Laredo radials measuring 215/85r/16.
  • Most recent work to the truck includes new rear springs, rebuilt carburetor, and a custom ‘diamond plate’ section added below the tailgate.
  • The 1981 Ford red single-stage enamel paint shows well and there appears to be no rust or bubbling coming through anywhere. Both the driver and passenger windows and vent ‘wings’ work easily and there appears to be no cracks or fogging on any of the glass.
  • All exterior lights, including turn signals, brake, taillights, and headlight’s function.
  • The interior was re-done to the factory specifications and includes a radio delete and shift diagram plate. A 1960’s style rubber bladed fan was added and works from a separate switch. The factory speedometer/odometer and temperature gauges work. Aftermarket oil pressure and temperature gauges were added for a more accurate reading. Only the gas gauge does not work.
  • The Willy’s Jeep is a blast to drive and draws attention wherever it goes and has won numerous awards at Car Shows and Cruise-ins around the area.
