1957 Ford Thunderbird - Kurzmann's Auto Brokerage

Up for sale is a one-of-a-kind, show winning, eye-catching, all fiber glass, professionally built Pro Street 1957 Ford T-Bird.

This beautiful example of a combination classic cruiser and vintage drag car always draws attention wherever it goes and it’s a blast to drive. The T-Bird has NEVER been raced but was NHRA certified in 2000 to run 8.50 e.t.’s in the quarter mile. Gross vehicle weight is 2,400 pounds. Engine horsepower is in excess of 500. On the street, this car is very responsive, both in power and handling. It is titled and tagged as a “1957 Ford Thunderbird” and passes PA state inspection.

Here is the history and specifications:

The T-Bird was built 15 years ago to compete in the “Vintage Drag Racing” class, but never made it to ‘the strip’. It was sold as a pro street car and has only logged 7,800 ‘car show’ miles since then. The car has always been garage kept, never abused, and very reliable.

Fiber glass body (manufacturer is unknown) which has been extended 7” in the front.
Color is a 2-stage (base coat & clear coat) 2000 Chrysler red metallic.

Tire sizes are: Front – 165 x 80R x 15 Metric TR radials

Wheels are made by American Racing; “Salt Flat” models.
