1956 Lincoln Premier 2-door hardtop in its original color combination “34” of Presidential Black and Sunburst Yellow. It is powered by the numbers matching 368 c.i. 275 h.p. Lincoln V-8 and backed by a 3-speed “Turbo Drive” automatic transmission.

This car was recently purchased from an estate where the collector kept it in a climate-controlled garage.
There is not much history on the 99,000-mile beauty, except that it came north from Florida in 2008, and the body has been repainted. The black top appears to be the original paint. Noted areas of bodywork are in the top right fender and lower left rear quarter panel. A body magnet shows the car to be very solid.
The exterior chrome is in fair to good condition, with some scratches on the bumpers and pits on the door handles. All of the glass is in good condition, and only the right rear power window does not function.
The exterior and interior lights and factory gauges function correctly. The radio power antenna, andclock do not.
With regards to the interior, the seats and headliner were redone at some point, but the door panels appear original. In the way of “power” options. The front seat operates smoothly up and down as well as forward and back. The factory power steering and brakes are in excellent condition.
The Lincoln recently had a new exhaust system and a new battery, wheel cylinders, brake shoes, and Coker 15″ radial white wall tires.
This was the first year for Ford and Lincoln/Mercury to have 12-volt electrical systems, and the Premier starts easily and runs great. You can’t even hear it ride (“Float”) down the road.
The owner is selling due to having too many “toys.”

I have been an active eBay seller of cars and other items for more than 20 years and maintained a 100% rating during most of that period. Approximately 12 years ago, I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles on the internet without them leaving the garage.
