Beautifully restored, Two-Time Grand National AACA (Antique Automobile Club of America) Champion 1955 Ford Thunderbird painted in the number’s matching Raven Black with the correct two-tone interior. Everything is new and includes (2) tops (soft & hard). A three-year restoration was completed in 2014, with its first Championship award in 2016 and second in 2019. Driven less than 3,000 miles in 9 years.

Power comes from a 312 c.i. Y-Block Ford non-matching numbers, which was completely rebuilt in 2017 and driven less than 400 miles. Backing the vintage V-8 is the correct 3-speed manual transmission with overdrive.

This T-Bird was converted to 12-volt and completely rewired using the thicker gauge 6-volt harness. Factory options include power windows and seats as well as a telescopic steering wheel for easy in and out. A false radio plate is used, so no stock radio is present.

Complete nut & bolt restoration
2-stage urethane Raven black throughout, even on the undercarriage.
All original metal except for a new passenger side floor pans and rocker panels.
Chrome was either replated or replaced.
New glass, window fuzz, and weather stripping.
Refinished hardtop, including the headliner.
Haartz cloth soft top.
Hardtop cart is included.

Stainless Steel exhaust system.
New fuel system including gas tank.
Rebuilt 3-speed manual transmission w/overdrive.
New clutch pack & flywheel.

Rebuilt and reupholstered seats and door panels.
Refurbished gauges. Even the clock works.
New Carpeting.

Refinished frame with new body mounts.
New suspension front and rear.
Rebuilt rear differential.
Tires are original bias-ply 6.70 x 15.
Complete brake system, including lines and hardware.
