For your consideration is this beautifully restored 1955 Ford F100 Pickup. It is running the original 239 cu. in. Ford ‘Y’ block V-8 backed by the original 3-Speed manual transmission (on the column, yes, 3 on the tree). Please note part of the ‘appeal’ to the current owner was to keep the truck close to being original. Please note it does NOT have power steering or power brakes.

Restoration took 2 years and was completed in 2014 by an unknown North Carolina shop and sold to the current owner through a dealer. According to the owner, everything was rebuilt including the engine, transmission, rear differential, steering, and all of the wiring. The owner switched out the original 16” wheels for radials and 15” chrome reverse with the Ford cap. The truck runs and sounds great!!

Some of the upgrades the restoration shop performed include conversion to a 12-volt electrical system with an alternator. Additionally, an Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor, LED taillights and bed rail lights (mounted on the end of the bed). Every gauge function’s normally except the odometer. All of the vents work smoothly, and the heater does blow hot. An AM/FM/CD player was added by the restoration company with 2 speakers mounted behind the seatback. Actual mileage since purchase is approximately 400 to local shows and cruise events.

The 2-stage urethane red is in great condition. The F100 appears to be very straight and is ALL STEEL with no visible bodywork or rust. The rear tailgate is black because the original item which came on the truck had a few ‘dents’ and scratches, so the owner sold it and bought a new one. Has not had the time to repaint it.

Included with the Ford F100 are a pair of new front and rear painted bumpers, 5 original 16” wheels, an NOS headliner, 2 original fog lights, and a car cover.

I have been an active eBay seller of cars and other items for since 2002 and maintained a close to a 100% rating during most of that period. Around 2011 I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles without them leaving the garage. These are private individual owners who do not want to deal with the public and all of the endless phone calls, “Tire kickers”, and other nonsense that goes on when trying to sell a car. They just want someone to sell it!!
