1955 Chevrolet Bel Air 4 Door powered by a 350 cu. in V-8 small block with an Edelbrock Carburetor and intake manifold, upgraded radiator, and backed by a Turbo 350 3-speed automatic transmission. The current owner purchased the car 6 years ago and has used it primarily for car shows and cruise events, keeping it in the garage when not used.

The Bel Air has been treated to several upgrades, which include Vintage Air A/C (which blows cold air) & heat, power brakes (disc front & drums rear), power steering, new suspension bushings, and parts both up front and rear including station wagon rear springs (the reason the car sits higher in the rear), new exhaust system, and Coker 15” radial tires.
Up until a year ago, the car spent its entire life in southern California (a true dry climate). The exterior yellow and white are the original colors of the car, but it has had one repaint (exact age is unknown) in single-stage urethane. The body is solid, and there does not appear to be any bodywork or repair evident. The “rust” you see is strictly surface scale due to exposure. The weather stripping is original, as well as most of the glass. The chrome is also original and in good condition, with some scratches and areas beginning to show pitting, but not beyond being re-plated. Body mounts to the frame look good, and the floors are solid.
The interior is original and, except for the carpeting and seatbelts, has never been repaired. The factory gauges function normally, including the speedometer, temperature, and fuel. Only the clock does not work. An aftermarket water temperature gauge along with an AM/FM/Cassette stereo with multiple speakers were also added.
This is a very reliable and fun 4-door that draws attention wherever it goes and has the modern conveniences of today in a classic Chevrolet of the 1950s.
