1955 Chevrolet 210 4 door sedan powered by a 1969 350 c.i. /255 h.p. V-8 and backed by the original 2-speed Power-glide. This is the ‘basic’ family car from the 1950s, so power options did not exist, such as brakes, steering, or A/C.

The history of the car is vague, but it appeared to spend most of its time in the mid-west. The current owner purchased it from Iowa in 2014.
In 2021, much of the mechanical and electrical issues were corrected, including new brakes, dual exhaust (Thrush mufflers), dashboard wiring, fuel tank, cooling system flushed, carburetor rebuild, battery, and tune-up. The tires (215/75R/15) are only 4 years old and have about 100 miles on them.
The ’55 starts easily and runs great. The only issue is the transmission, which should be rebuilt because it does leak and sometimes slips.
The exterior chrome is in good shape, and certain pieces have been replaced or re-plated. For example, the front bumper with the accessory bars and the rear bumper.
The body does appear quite sold, which includes the floors and body mounts. It is unknown when the car was repainted from the original Ivory top and Cashmere blue bottom, but it is showing some ‘patina.’ Very little rust or rot is coming through. The small ‘dots’ which appear in certain places could be evidence of dirt under the paint.
All the glass is in good condition except for the driver’s side window, which has a small crack at the bottom edge. All the factory interior gauges work as well as the turn signals, wipers, and exterior lights. Original and after-market radios do not work. Factory seats were recovered, and seatbelts were added.
This would be a GREAT car to run around town and attend local cruise nights with the family.

I have been an active eBay seller of cars and other items for more than 20 years and maintained a 100% rating during most of that period. Approximately 12 years ago, I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles on the internet without them leaving the garage.
