1955 Cadillac Coupe de Ville series 62 hardtop powered by a 400-cu. in. Chevrolet and backed by a Turbo 400 3-speed automatic transmission. Car originally came from Utah before arriving on the east coast.

Current owner purchased the car 4 years ago and has put approximately 2000 miles on it.

Owner is selling because of multiple projects.

SPECIFICATIONS

Original color was black with a black interior and the car had factory air conditioning. None of the original A/C parts are available, but the car does have heat. There appears to be a bit of surface scale throughout the frame and undercarriage.
Known areas of attention include front floor pans and areas in the trunk (see photos).
Chrome is in fair to good condition.
Power windows work, but slowly. Driver’s and left quarter windows are cracked but go up and down.
Exterior lights work which include the brake, tag, back up, and turn signals. The headlight switch needs to be replaced.

Stock 400 c.i. Chevy from the early 70’s with shorty headers.
New items include Edelbrock intake, valve covers, and carburetor; gas tank, sending unit, and lines (dash gauge works); HEI ignition, and electric fuel pump. Starts easily and no apparent over heating issues.
Completely new exhaust system with ‘Smitty’ style mufflers.
Turbo 350 is stock and shifts smoothly.

1980’s vinyl upholstery was there when purchased. Not known if the radio works. Speedometer, odometer, gas, and aftermarket temperature gauges work. The wiper motor works. Power windows work but go up slowly. The driver’s window is cracked.
Original A/C blowers in the trunk do not work.
Additional parts not pictured are the garnish molding around the interior front windshield and the Electronic ‘Eye’ on the driver’s side.

New: Tires by Coker 235/75/15, power brake system (discs front & drums rear), rear springs and shocks, power steering pump, front tie rod ends.
Original stock 3.07:1 (open) rear axle ratio.

Approximately 10 years ago I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles on the internet without them leaving the garage.
