The present owner purchased the Dodge approximately 15 years ago from and individual in Colorado. According to him the car had never been repainted, had no bodywork, and only the seats had been redone. Regular maintenance such as oil changes, tires, brakes, etc had been done on the car, but unfortunately, there are no records.

In regard to the body, it does appear original without any evidence of repair or bodywork. All the floors are solid; there is no rust coming through in the trunk and all the glass appears original. Exterior chrome looks good for being original.

Besides the seats being done the door panels look original. The factory gauges function and the interior chrome is excellent. Even the original tube style AM radio works, if you like AM stations.

The Dodge is still on a 6-volt system and is a little stubborn when it starts cold. Otherwise, it rides, drives, and shifts like a 1953 Dodge would.

Additional parts include factory fender skirts, new gaskets, and car cover.
