1951 Studebaker 2R5 ½ ton pickup truck which was recently purchased from an AACA (Antique Automobile Club of America) museum in Pennsylvania which had it on display for 12 years.

NO TRADES

This “49’er” is in very good running condition and is a blast to drive. There are several original and rare options which offered on the pickup which include the overdrive transmission, ‘Climatizer’ heater, spotlight, and fog lights.

The Stude’ is powered by the original 80 h.p. L-Head Champion inline six-cylinder and 3-speed transmission. Both of which were rebuilt when the truck was restored. Additionally, the odometer was reset to ‘0’ when it was completed. So, the 1400 miles showing are since the restoration. All of the factory gauges work even the spotlight. The AM radio does make a humming sound, but no stations come in.

According to the museum everything was inspected including, but not limited to the suspension, brakes, steering, hoses, battery, engine, transmission, and hoses.

There appears to be no rust showing, but the age of the restoration is starting to show in the paint and bodywork. New tires will be needed. Please view pictures carefully.

PLEASE BUY WITH CONFIDENCE

I have been an active eBay seller of cars and other items for since 2002 and maintained a close to a 100% rating during most of that period. Around 2011 I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles without them leaving the garage. These are private individual owners who do not want to deal with the public and all of the endless phone calls, “Tire kickers”, and other nonsense that goes on when trying to sell a car. They just want someone to sell it!!
