- The custom work of the body is nothing short of stunning with a 2” chopped top, ’57 Corvette grille, ‘shaved bumpers’, frenched headlights, C2 Corvette taillights, nosed hood, and decked trunk lid. All work was done in metal and shows no evidence of bubbling or cracking. The exterior chrome and stainless-steel trim look fantastic. The under side of the body is as finished as the top.
- The engine is a rebuilt 350 cu. in. Chevrolet treated to a serpentine pulley system with polished brackets and a chrome alternator, a Demon 3-2barrel intake and carb set up, MSD distributor with a coil blaster and 6 AL box, ceramic coated headers, polished A/C compressor, and an oversized aluminum radiator with dual thermostatically controlled electric fans which helps keep the Fleetline cool even on the hottest summer days.
- The interior is done in a 2-tone burgundy and onyx leather with a custom dashboard using Classic gauges, a BOSS touch screen radio, USB, Bluetooth stereo system with a backup camera, and a custom shift console from a later model Camaro with a hand brake. Attached to the three-spoke wood steering wheel is an Ididit tilt column. The driver’s seat is a three-way power item along with power windows.
- The trunk is also finished with a similar color theme as the interior with padded sides, carpeting, spare tire with cover, ‘kill’ switch and battery charger connection. A car cover is included.
- The suspension uses the stock frame and a late model GM rack & pinion front end with coil over shocks, and a heavy-duty sway bar with polyurethane bushings. The rear is from a late model Nova using leaf springs and a 10-bolt differential with 3.55:1 open gears. The Wilwood power brake system has 4-wheel discs and the Chevy rides on polished billet Vintec 17” wheels and new Falken 215/50R/17 radial tires.
- The build was completed approximately 6 years ago and has only been driven about 3900 miles to shows and cruise events. This Fleetline has proved to be a multiple show winner and very reliable cruiser. There are no disappointments.
