Up for sale is this unique 1949 Chevrolet pick up dually. It is powered by a small block Chevrolet with a Turbo 350 automatic transmission. Since it was purchased in 2009 the Chevy has always been garage kept.

The bed is approximately 10’ long and made of fiberglass. The manufacturer is not known; it was custom made because it has been extended by about 2’ to cover the frame. Tailgate functions using latches mounted on the inside and there is a tonneau cover which looks like diamond plate.
The engine is believed to be a 1980’s 350 Chevrolet which is internally stock.The only modifications appear to be the Edelbrock carburetor, Holley intake manifold, HEI ignition, and headers. Transmission is a stock Turbo 350 and the rear differential is a Dana (axle ratio is unknown).
It does have power steering and power brakes (disc front; drum rear). A battery shut off switch is located under the bed on the passenger’s side.
The interior is as you see it. All the gauges work and so does the radio. The windows are power items but do not go up and down. Please note that the doors only open using a ‘door popper’ and currently they do not work, so you will see a carabiner hook on the bottom of the driver’s door which operates a cable to open the door. The passenger door also has a cable, but it is up inside the door so it presently cannot be opened.
Not much is known about the truck because this is part of an estate sale so there is no documented history on the build or mileage.

I have been an active eBay seller of cars and other items for since 2002 and maintained a close to a 100% rating during most of that period. Around 2011 I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles without them leaving the garage. These are private individual owners who do not want to deal with the public and all of the endless phone calls, “Tire kickers”, and other nonsense that goes on when trying to sell a car.
