Beautiful and award winning custom Prostreet 1948 Chevrolet 3100 series Pickup. This is an ALL STEEL pick up with a complete Fat Man industries chassis including ladder bar rear suspension and independent front with Mustang II rack and pinion. Cost of just the chassis was in excess of $11,000!!
Power for this show truck comes from a 408 cu. in. big block Chevrolet built by Jim Bowen of Glen Rock, PA. It is backed by a professionally built Turbo 400 with a 3000 stahl converter and B&M shift kit.
The rear differential is a 9” Ford with a posi unit.
The interior was a custom design featuring a mid-1980’s Chrysler 8-way power seat, custom shift box with a Hurst shifter.
Truck was completed in 2011 and has logged a little over 6500 miles on the odometer.
Owner is selling because of personal reasons.
