1934 Ford Model ‘B’ Pickup street rod which came to Maryland via California. The body (with a 3” chopped top), bed, hood and grille are steel, but the fenders are fiberglass items.

The color is truly unusual and sometimes needs a ‘double-take’. It is a 2-stage ‘Peach’ Pearl urethane, yes, peach pearl is the color. When you view the video, you will see a slight hint of a pinkish tint, it is not the video. There appears to be no bubbling or rust in the body or bed and no cracking in the fenders.
The power comes from a rebuilt 350 c.i. Chevrolet with a mild hydraulic cam, Edelbrock intake and carburetor, along with block hugger headers. Ignition is an HEI unit with a Be-Cool radiator set up. Behind the small block is a turbo 350 automatic with a B&M shift kit and a 2500 stall converter. The shifter is a Quick Silver unit.
The rear differential is a narrowed 9” Ford which uses a ladder bar set up and a watts linkage. The gears are a 3.55 posi unit. The front end is a hand-built independent item using Mustang II rack and pinion steering and 2” dropped spindles. Brakes non-power discs front and drums rear. Radial tires are 135 x 80R x 15 front and 295 x 50R x 15 in the rear.
Interior uses a clothe bench seat, headliner, and door panels. Steering column is a tilt item with custom “Ford” center steering wheel. Gauges appear to be classic Ford. Power windows and an Alpine stereo complete the cockpit for cruising and keeping cool. Additionally, the front windshield tilts out for that ‘in the face’ air.
It is estimated that the truck was completed in the early 2000’s and was purchased by the present owner in 2009. His actual miles since purchase are about 10,000.
In Summary, the truck is a blast to drive and comes home with a first place at almost every show. You will not be disappointed.

Around 2011 I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles without them leaving the garage.
