1934 Chevrolet Phaeton Convertible Street rod powered by a new ZZ4 350 Chevy V-8 and backed by a 700R4 4-speed automatic transmission with a shift kit. This project is about 85% complete and is very road worthy as you can see in the video and pictures. Approximately 2600 miles has been logged on the Chevrolet as you see it now. The car IS TITLED AS A 1934 CHEVROLET CONVERTIBLE.

The steel reinforced fiberglass body and square tubing frame were built by ‘Old Chicago’ back in the 1990s. The top is a removable ‘Carson’ style fiberglass unit and comes off with 4 bolts. Side curtains for the hood are also included, but not painted. Period correct headlights with LED turn signals and brake lights (including the third brake light) are installed and functional.
The chassis is complete with a gloss black frame, power rack & pinion steering with an independent front end using tubular ‘A’ arms along with coil-over shocks. The rear is a Ford 9” with 28 spline axles and 3.70:1 positraction gears and uses a 4-link with coil-over shocks. The brakes are power with discs front and drums rear. All of the fuel and brake lines are stainless steel, along with the 16-gallon gas tank. The wheels are custom-made Boyd Coddington items with 15” on the front and 16” on the rear. Tires are B.F. Goodrich 205/70R/15 and 275/65R/16.
The interior has all the wiring done using a Painless Wiring harness and includes a Dakota Digital Dash, Vintage Air A/C & heat (not connected), power window regulators, and electric door poppers. The bucket seats are Fiero items and are fully adjustable.
Although there is no glass for the sides and top, templates are included.
