This is a professionally built coupe using high quality and name brand parts. It is believed to have been completed in the early to mid-1990’s. Only 19,500 miles have been logged on the car. Present owner has had the car for 10 years and has done some upgrades and improvements which are listed below.
The fiberglass body is by Downs along with the grille shell. The fenders were made by Wescott and shortened to fit. The aluminum 3-piece hood is by Rootlieb. Custom turn signals were made and located in the front and rear spreader bars along with a third taillight in the back window. Shaved doors open with a magnet, trunk opens electrically, and the tinted side windows are power.
The all-leather interior which uses Corvette bucket seats was done by Steve Ralf and it still looks great. The overhead console is an AM/FM/Cassette unit with accessory lights. Speakers located behind seats. Gauges are by VDO and all function accurately. Please note the cassette player does not work.
The coupe does have a Vintage Air A/C system installed, but it has never been charged or used. Only the heat functions. Controls located under the dash.
With the Heidt’s independent super ride front end, 4-wheel disc brakes, and 9” Ford 4-link rear the ’32 rides and handles well and the new MSD ignition helps the coupe start and perform great.
The car does not overheat and the thermostatically controlled electric fans function fine.
