Here is a rare opportunity to own a true piece of Chevrolet history. This is an original 1932 Chevrolet BA Confederate 5-window coupe which has been in the same family since new!

An uncle purchased the car, and shortly after his death in the 1980s, the brother bought the car from the estate and restored it in the mid-1990s. This was a total frame-off restoration, and the coupe was an AACA (Antique Automobile Club of America) National First Prize Winner in 1997 and Chevrolet Senior Award Winner.
Everything was rebuilt, re-plated, or replaced on the 5-window, and it retains the 6-volt charging system. Very few miles were added to the car because the owner kept it as a “trailer queen” and only drove it once, arriving at an event.
The 194 c.i. / 60 horsepower I-6-cylinder engine was, of course, rebuilt and starts easily and runs great.
The body is all steel with no ‘Bondo’. The lacquer paint (black and blue) shows some age with some areas of cracking and shrinkage, but the shine still comes through. The glass is in good condition, and all three windows roll up and down easily.
The interior was done in the original style cloth material, and there is even a shade for the crank-down rear window. All of the gauges work except the fuel level. The Bowden cables for the ‘Choke’, ‘Spark’ advance, and ‘Throttle’ work, but are stiff and need oiling.
Please note the estate for the owner is selling the car, and it sat in an insulated garage with a concrete floor, for 8 years without being started until recently. Some small details need to be addressed, and they include but are not limited to brake lights do not work, cracked dome light, chrome needing to be polished, right headlight does not work (needs a new connector), and the horn blows when you make a right turn. Otherwise, it appears everything else works.

I have been an active eBay seller of cars and other items for more than 20 years and maintained a 100% rating during most of that period. Approximately 12 years ago, I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles on the internet without them leaving the garage.
