1931 Ford 4-Door slant window series 60 (Murry mfg.) steel body Street Rod. Just in case you are not familiar with the Murry manufacturing company. They began making bodies for Ford, Chevrolet, Dodge, and other manufacturers back in 1915 and through most of the 1930s. The body on this ’31 Ford is a (steel) Murry body with a slanted front windshield. The front and rear fenders are fiberglass.

This Ford was initially completed in the early 2000s by the original builder and purchased by the current owner around 2010. Total mileage since its completion is about 20,000, but only 2,100 miles are on the engine, transmission, and rear differential.

The specifics on the car are listed below, but here are some of the NEW items the present owner added to the Model A. Summit “Blueprint” 383 c.i. Chevrolet stroker motor putting out 330 h.p., Gear Star 200-R4 transmission, power brakes (disc front & drum rear), Currie 9” Ford w/ 3.50:1 posi rear, complete interior including the tinted windows, Wabbit dash, VDO gauges, and Vintage Air Gen II A/C/Heat/Defrost.

Although the exterior of the car does show the mileage, the Ford starts easily, runs strong, and everything works, including the A/C. Side panels for the hood are painted the same color as the car and included. The battery is located in the rear console between the seat, but the one shown is not the correct size, so the lid does not close.

Ford is being sold as part of an estate and includes paperwork and receipts dating back to the initial build.

  • Wabbit wood dash with VDO classic gauges (Speedometer, oil pressure, water temperature, volt meter, and fuel), VDO white faced tachometer, water temperature, oil pressure. I do not know why there are duplicate water & oil gauges, but both sets work.
  • Pontiac Tilt steering column
  • E-Z wiring harness
