Up for sale by a private party is this all steel 1930 Ford Coupe street rod with rumble seat. It is a dynamite looking car, built to show well and be very reliable. It appears to only need some ‘elbow grease’ to clean it up and make it show worthy.
Unfortunately, the family who owns the car does not know much about when it was completed. Odometer reading is correct at 6100 miles, the family believes the car was completed in the late 1990’s. It belonged to the Father of the household and he owned a body shop which performed all of the work on the car. He has since passed away.

SPECIFICATIONS
- Body & Paint
- 2-stage blue metallic with hand painted pin striping. (information provided by body shop)
The condition of the paint appears to be very good. There are two “crows feet” on the right rear fender (photo) and a few tiny bubbles on the seam of the left front fender (photo). That is it. All of the glass is perfect and the windows operate fine, including the push out front window. - All lights appear to work including emergency flashers.
- 1932 Ford grill shell, hood, and head lights.
- Engine & Transmission
- Late model 350 c.i. Chevrolet which is basically stock except for an Edelbrock 600 cfm carb and Performer intake.
- Edelbrock air cleaner & valve covers
- Block hugger headers with Magnaflow mufflers and tail pipes.
- New battery, alternator, and distributor.
- Turbo 350, which is basically stock, with a Lokar shifter.
- Interior
- Faria gauges (which all work) Fuel, water temp, tachometer, speedometer, volts, and oil pressure.
- Tweed style cloth interior, in good condition (no stains tears or rips)
- AM/FM/CD player (which works, need an antenna for radio) mounted above windshield with speakers.
- Ididit tilt wheel.
- Chassis & Differential
- Frame appears to be stock and in excellent condition.
- Front end is independent with coil over shocks and rack & pinion steering (not power).
- Rear differential looks like an 8” Ford unit, I was told it is an “open rear” and the ratio is 3.08:1.
- Power brakes with discs up front and drums in the rear. Power brake booster is mounted on the frame along with the battery. Access is under the front seat.
- Wheels are American Torque Thrusts with 195 x 65R x 15 Michelin’s up front and 235 x 75R x 15 Michelin’s on the rear.
