True survivor 1964 Chevelle Malibu SS convertible with 75,245 original miles and the original 230 c.i. 6-cylinder and Power Glide automatic transmission. Documentation on the car starts in 1965 and runs up to the current owners who bought the car in 1992 from a dealer in Baton Rouge, LA. and drove it home to Baltimore, MD. From the documentation car spent most of its life in Florida.
Included with the documentation are the original build sheet, dealer sales receipt, owner’s manual, sales brochure, and shop manual. The car was purchased in Virginia by an officer in the military who was relocated to Florida.
Everything appears to be original, although the car seems to have been repainted the original Ermine White before the present owners bought the car. Cannot see any bodywork. Mechanically, the car has been well maintained and recently had a tune up and a thorough inspection of the brake and exhaust system. The video shows that the top operates normally, all the lights and turn signals function too. There are two new backup light lenses included.
All the gauges work except the radio and clock. Options included power steering and tinted front window.
According to the Chevrolet SS Muscle Car Red Book, only 1551 of these 6-cylinder convertibles were produced.

Around 2011 I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles without them leaving the garage.
